Zealand Institute of Business And Technology, ZIBAT, is a new organization in Denmark. ZIBAT was founded by law in 2008 as an independent self governed educational institution in Denmark with its own board of directors and a Vice- chancellor with the overall responsibility for running the organization.

ZIBAT has been formed to make business and industrial education on the Danish island called Zealand even better, and the aim is to become among the best educators via cooperation among the main institutions in Zealand. The joint effort is one of our key values involving both students and faculty in the development of ZIBAT. 

ZIBAT has an organizational structure in which the majority of ZIBAT’s activities are run on the different campuses. Only a limited number of activities are run by the ZIBAT office, among others overall coordination, development, quality assurance and quality control etc.

ZIBAT offers educational programmes ranking form Academy Profession Programmes, (Diploma Programmes) to undergraduate programmes (Professional Bachelor Programmes). ZIBAT has nine different geographical campus locations in the Danish island called Zealand. ZIBAT offers a total of about 40 full time programmes and a number of part time programmes among the nine different campuses.

Programmes and lectures are offered in Danish and an increasing number of programmes are also offered in English to attract a growing number of international students. ZIBAT is looking forward to welcoming you as an international student on one of our campus locations.

ZIBAT - Campus Køge

Zealand Institute of Business And Technology - Campus Køge is a well established institution with close ties to Danish and international business life. It offers a wide range of educational programmes and contributes to international and national activities with creative ideas and solutions.

The Campus is located 40 kilometres south of Copenhagen and was founded in 1897. Køge is a vibrant town of 57.000 inhabitants, situated in a beautiful landscape. The Køge-area is a very safe and pleasant place to live and to study.

The campus is easily accessible by public transport with trains departing from Copenhagen Main Station to Køge every 10 minutes.

Higher education in Denmark is generally considered to be of high academic standing. It takes place in a dynamic and informal study environment. Small seminars and working group activities are essential parts of each programme.Students are expected to play an active role and to develop a critical and analytical approach to the subjects taught and studied.

The educational programmes at Campus Køge are according to Danish practice and tradition always collaborating with the local, national and international business community.

This opens up a vast field of opportunities for sparring between students and firms, including the opportunitiy for students to test theory via practical solutions to real organizational challenges within the companies.

Zealand Institute of Business and Technology - Campus Køge offers a range of short-cycle higher education Academy Profession Programmes (so-called AP Degrees) and Diploma  and Business Bachelor Programmes in English for international students wishing to pursue study opportunities in Denmark.

In all aspects of teaching, ZIBAT - Campus Koge  involves representatives from the business - and wider - community, so that the skills, that the students are developing and applying are relevant and applicable to the needs of the local, national and global labour market.

In the 2 year AP programmes “work placements” are an integrated part of the learning process and can be designed and carried out in any area of the global community, as long as it fulfills the requirements of the learning outcomes defined in the programme - and formal requirements of the syllabus.

Students have been as far as New York, Chennai, Beijing, and, as close as Copenhagen and our home town of Koge, which is situated only 40 kilometres from the centre of Copenhagen.

The learning opportunities in the global world are limitless, and Campus Koge will do its utmost to ensure that the students get connected both professionally, socially and culturally to the demands and requirements of a changing global world.
